2025 is the year of the dare.

By dare, I mean finding ways to nudge yourself beyond your comfort zone. How often do we have an idea and then talk ourselves out of it by overthinking (I need to make sure everything is in place before I do this), rationalizing (this doesn’t make sense), catastrophizing (what if it all goes horribly wrong, and my life is destroyed), maximizing (this is way too big), minimizing (this is silly, I won’t bother), and generally terrorizing ourselves so that we do nothing except spend time engaging in buffering behaviors (eating, shopping, binge-watching, gaming, etc.)?

If you’ve ever wanted to experiment with the edges of your comfort zone, this program is for you.

  • Each month, you’ll choose a dare for yourself. It could be a small dare, or something more substantial.

  • Each dare is accompanied by a series of thought questions to help you better understand how you’re getting in your own way and limiting your experience.

  • You’ll be part of a cohort and invited to weekly accountability check-in Zoom meetings. In these accountability meetings, we’ll share successes and challenges, and offer live group coaching if you’re stuck. Meetings take place on Wednesdays, 9 am PST/noon EST, 6 pm CET and are recorded if you can’t make it.

  • You’ll also be part of a private Slack channel where you can get support between accountability meetings.

How you’ll benefit from this program

  • You’ll be in a safe space to try new behaviors

  • You’ll be supported by a coach (me) throughout the program

  • The accompanying thought questions are designed to help you gain insights into your beliefs about your comfort zone and to find ways to move beyond them at your own pace

  • You’ll leave the program having tried three new dares and explored how those experiences have enabled your growth.
