‘Hiring Success Stories after 50’ Research Project

I’ve had many clients tell me that ageism stops them from finding work. However, I’m curious about that statement. Certainly, ageism exists, but I don’t believe it’s a show-stopper. So I’m collecting hiring success stories for people who started new roles anytime after the age of 50. I’m a success story, I started a role at Concur at the age of 55, and voluntarily left 8 years later, at the age of 63. In those 8 years, I had 4 different roles, 3 of which were created to bring me into someone’s organization.

I believe that there are many things one can do to improve their hire-ability and I’m collecting those best practices and success stories. If you started a new job at the age of 50, 55, 60, and beyond, I’d love to hear your story. Please complete this contact form and I’ll set up a time to talk with you.

All submissions are 100% confidential. All who participate will receive a full copy of the results as a thank you.

I hope you’ll choose to share your success story, your best practices will help other, more seasoned workers find their next gig!
