While hanging my show last July at US Bank in Redmond, one of the employees mentioned that she had a space above her desk and wanted a painting there. I stared at the blank wall and then noticed her gorgeous large red leather bag next to the chair. Immediately, I knew that this painting had to be red.
This is the ocean at sunrise, when the beach is nearly silent, except for the sound of the waves lapping at the shore. Dawn is just peeking over the horizon; the pink and orange cloud reflections shimmer and shake on the water’s surface. It’s a magical time of day when anything is possible. Can you imagine sleeping in and missing this? Not me!
