Three apples headed for Biarritz! There used to be a vendor at the Redmond Farmer’s Market that made these fabulous apple pies. The apples were crisp and the filling was super light so that you tasted more of the apples and the crust. She’s no longer there, I’ve searched and searched. We’re sad that she’s no longer bringing pies to our Farmer’s Market.
It’s my turn to learn how to make apple pies. Maybe in September, it’s too hot these days to turn on the oven!
